Flights and transportation to the accommodation can be arranged for you, indicate this on the booking form/or contact us if you would like us to do so.

Please find below some possibilities to search by yourself for airlines so you can book a flight.

Car rental

We can arrange a rental car for you. The rental car can be picked up and/or dropped off at the airport, or can be delivered to your accommodation. For more information please contact us.

Transfer or taxi from and to the airport

We can provide transfers from and to the airport for our guests. If you prefer the local taxi we can arrange it. For more information please contact us.

Bus information

Buses are the only form of public transport in Crete, operated by KTEL, a quite extensive network makes it relatively easy to travel around the island. Fares are goverment-regulated and very reasonable by European standards.

Travel from and to Heraklion, with a stop at the airport, is via Ierapetra, where there is a change of bus. It is also possible to take a bus from the airport to Agios Nikoloas, with a change of service for onward travel to Ierapetra. Locally, there is a service between Ierapetra and Vianos with a stop in Myrtos. Passengers can buy their ticket on board the bus when boarding. Drivers accept EUR currency and only cash.

Ferry information

For a more leisurely arrival in Crete, a number of ferry services are available. Direct services between Pireus (the port of Athens, port code TZE) and Heraklion (HCR) are run by a number of companies.
